I love anime and manga with a passion. So, here I will list my favorites, and some info, and maybe my favorite characters (or, more accurately, how many bishies there are ^^)
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
Favorite men: Kamina, Simon
Favorite women: Yoko
Favorite anime. Evah.
So in the future, there are these Beastmen, and they're weird and hard to explain. They're like... mutants... kind of. But they have some badass mecha called Ganmen, and normal humans have been forced underground. So this boy, Simon, and this older boy, Kamina, escape their underground city via a buried Ganmen. Then they meet the scantily-clad Yoko and they get a biiiiiig Ganmen. So the little one (Simon's) is Lagann and the biiiiig one (Kamina's) is Gurren. And they go on adventures and stuff to defeat the Beastmen because they're evil and I won't give any spoilers because I'm a good girl but still... if anyone knows it, EPISODE 8, people, EPISODE 8.
I finished it. Waaaah. Bad ending.
Fullmetal Alchemist
Favorite men: Ed, Roy
Favorite women: Riza, Winry
Basically, two brothers, Edward and Alphonse, are out to find the Philosopher's Stone and get their original bodies back. Ed lost his arm and leg and Al his whole body because they tried to revive their mother when she died. They are alchemists, and alchemy is like a cross between magic and science. But, human transmutation is forbidden, and that's why they lost their bodies. Unfortunately, human transmutation comes with some other nasty side effects...

Favorite men: Vincent
Favorite women: Dinah
This is my favorite manga. So cool. So...
Dinah and Vincent are best friends. Dinah, however, isn't exactly normal: she can see ghosts. One day, when they sneak out of the house, they stumble across The Sunken Mausoleum in the woods. Dinah accidentially activates a contract, and now she must return every night to enter the dreams of restless ghosts locked away in their tombs. And if she doesn't fufill the contract, she'll become one of the horrifying Cleaners.
Ouran High School Host Club
Favorite men: Tamaki, Kyouya, Hikaru, Kaoru
Favorite women: Haruhi, Renge
All-time favorite comedy anime. Actually, my favorite romantic comedy, starring Tamaki and Haruhi, with the others as the homo side characters. (That's a joke from the series...) But Gurren Lagann, of course, is teh pwnxxorz.
Haruhi Fujioka, a commoner on a scholarship to Ouran High School, one of the most prestigious schools in the country, accidentially stumbles into the Third Music Room. There, she finds the Host Club, a group of 6 men that make it their responsibility to entertain women. She breaks a vase there, and acquires a huge debt. Taking her for a man, the Host Club quickly employs her, and she continues to work there even after thay figure out she's a woman.
This is also a manga, and the next volume is out, but hey, I don't think OneManga has it yet! :'-(
Night Head Genesis

Umm... well, I haven't finished watching this yet.
There are two brothers, Naoto and Naoya, that were sent away by their parents because of their special abilities. You see, they can use more than the 3% or so of the brain than we can use. And Shouko is so awesome that she has transcended humanity and can travel through other planes. And that's about as far as I've gotten.
